Saginaw Bay walleye fishing guides can put you on fish from late spring until late summer. This fishery is on fire right now with huge numbers of fish being caught on many trips. You even have a decent shot at a trophy fish.
Late Spring Fishing
The fish are done spawning and are roaming the bay looking for food. The inner bay hot spots are the Pinconning Bar, Coryeon Bar, and Callahan Reef. Trolling crankbaits in shallow water near emerging vegetation is the ticket early in the season. Crawler harness will get hot as spring turns to early summer.
Summer Fishing
Fish move into predictable patterns as they go deeper in the bay and get settled in for summer. The inner bay still holds lots of fish but northern areas like Rifle Bar, Gravelly Shoal, the Charity Islands become focal points. Crawler harness take the majority of fish along with spoons as the water warms and the fish get aggressive. This is a numbers game with limits happening quickly on a hot bite.

Net Results Fishing Charters
Welcome aboard the Net Results. Captain Duncan Wooster has a United States Coast Guard license and 20 years of walleye fishing and Great Lakes boating experience. This is not a job it's my passion, I love learning and sharing how to catch walleyes. A perfect day on the water is searching and locating a school of walleye and finding the best way to put them in the boat. Depending on your trip we may troll spinners, cranks, or jig.
Duncan is pulling spinners and cranks on Saginaw Bay during the month of June. Lets go fishing!
