Lake St Clair offers a variety of opportunities throughout the year for bass, perch, walleye, and muskie. Smallmouth bass are the hot ticket right now for both numbers and size.
Spring Fishing (May-June)
Lake St Clair is a great place to fish during the spring. Catch and release fishing for gigantic smallmouth bass, shallow water walleye, and even a big muskie are all possible - sometimes even in the same area. The bass are often visible in the water and can be very aggressive.
Summer Fishing (July-Sept)
Lake St Clair fishing remains hot as the temperature warms up but the easy fishing is over. This is where a knowledge guide can make the difference between a bad day and a great day. Fish tend to move farther out into the lake chasing bait but the same techniques will work all summer.
Fall Fishing (Oct-Dec)
Lake St Clair fall fishing means one thing - BIG bass. If you don't mind the cold this may be the greatest time of the year for a trophy fish. Numerous fish approaching six pounds are caught every year. Put on your cold weather gear and head out to the lake - no competition and fish that are always hungry.
