Get ready for a fun, action packed day trolling for walleye on Lake Erie with Captain Duncan Wooster on the Net Results charter boat!
We will fish a variety of different locations throughout the summer as walleye follow bait around Lake Erie. Some classic areas we may fish include Turtle Island, The Reefs, Middle Bass Island, Huron Dumping Grounds, The Castle, and Cedar Point. The most common set ups will be trolling crankbaits behind inline planer boards, dragging hair jigs, and bouncing crawler harnesses. Each technique allows us to target fish at specific depths as they relate to structure and bait.

Location Information:
Captain Duncan Wooster's Lake Erie charter trips will depart from several locations depending on time of year, lake conditions, and where the hot walleye bite is taking place. Captain Duncan will give you specific details well in advance of your trip.

Directions: Easy to find. From Highway 6 in Huron take Main Street south for about a half mile. The sign for Holiday Harbor will be on your left just past the Lutheran Church.
Mazurik Lake Access Map
North Shore Blvd
Marblehead, Ohio
Directions: Mazurik's is east of Port Clinton off North Shore Blvd in Marblehead. Best way to find it is from the intersection of State Route 2 and Route 269. Take Route 269 (Bridge Rd) north until you hit Route 163. Take Route 163 east (right) to North Shore Blvd. Your going to take a left (north) on North Shore Blvd and drive for about three miles. Mazurik's will be on the left side of the road.

Number of Anglers:
Duncan can accommodate 1-3 anglers for his Lake Erie charter trips (1-2 angler is better). If you have a larger group, give Duncan a call before you make your reservations online and he can arrange for a larger boat.
What To Bring:
Warm clothes and rain gear are a must just in case the weather takes a turn for the worse. Warm temperatures on shore can be a little deceiving. Lake Erie water temperatures stay cool most of the spring and fall and proper gear will make your trip more enjoyable.
A camera to take a picture of your catch. Most cell phone cameras will not take take the quality photo you are looking for if you catch the trophy of a lifetime. Bring a good camera.
Fishing Licenses:
All anglers 17 or older are required to have a valid fishing license. You may need a Michigan license, Ohio license, or both depending on where you will be fishing. Check with Captain Duncan well in advance of your trip to verify license requirements. Michigan and Ohio fishing licenses can both be purchased online. Learn more
Please note: you must have your fishing license purchased BEFORE you arrive at the dock for your trip.
Food & Drinks:
Bring any food and drink you would like to eat during the day in a SMALL cooler. Please make sure your drinks have a twist on cap to prevent spills in the boat (no cans please)
No Alcohol or Drugs Allowed - sorry but there is ABSOLUTELY NO alcohol or non-prescription drugs allowed on any Lance Valentine Walleye 101 Charter Trip.
Fish Cleaning:
Duncan will get your fish cleaned up after your trip. You're welcome to bring your own fillet knives - power is available for electric knives. Please bring some gallon zip lock bag for the fillets and a cooler with ice to transport your catch and keep it fresh on the ride home.
Hotel Accommodations:
There are several hotels and motels conveniently located near our Lake Erie launch sites. These are generally not luxury accommodations but are "fisherman friendly" and keep you close to the fishing action. Hotel Info Coming Soon
