Rickards has two locations in the Port Clinton area. This one is on the way to Mazuriks launch and has a good selection of bait, local tackle, sandwiches, snacks, ice and beer. Very helpful on helping get you on the fish - just ask!
Directions: Located at the intersection of Hwy 163 and Hyw 269 a little over a two miles north of Hwy 2. Plenty of parking in front of the store. |

Happy Hooker carries a great selection of minnows, crawlers, and local tackle including Lake Erie "Hair Jigs". Friendly service and they will put you on the fish if you call for a report. Close to the major marinas and boat ramps in the area. They also have a cabin for rent that is next to the bait store.
Directions: Easy to find. Located 1.7 miles west of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Plant on State Rt 2. South side of the road.
