 Lake Erie Walleye Charters

Lake Erie has two very distinct seasons that occur because fish are constantly migrating in search of food and a comfortable water temperature.  Things get going in late March with the spring spawners in the western basin and concludes when these same fish migrate back from Cleveland in the fall.

Spring Fishing
Lake Erie spring fishing begins in late March and runs through the late May.  The most productive areas in the western basin are Brest Bay, Turtle Island, Maumee Bay, the Reefs, and the Erie Islands.  Techniques include jigging with hair jigs and blade baits, trolling crank baits, and trolling harnesses.  The big females tend to be on the move and it takes a good guide to keep you on the fish.

Fall Fishing
Lake Erie fall fishing begins in late September and runs until ice up in December.  Prime time is generally from mid-October until late-November.  Huron is considered by many to be the best place on the lake for fall fishing.  This is all about trophy fish and most of the action will happen on big deep diving crankbaits like Reef Runners and Rapala Husky Jerks.   The Fall bite means tough weather and migrating fish - your guide is key to getting you on a trophy of a lifetime.

Lance Valentine's Walleye 101 Educational Fishing Trips

Lance Valentine will provide a hands on, high intensity, on the water learning opportunity - not a "traditional charter".  These trips are great for the novice who wants to get started the right way or for seasoned anglers who want an in-depth learning experience.  Lance will then share his vast knowledge of using sonar and GPS to locate good fishing spots, bait and gamefish.  You will be coached through the proper way to use all the equipment and how to fish the chosen presentation properly - with all the little secrets the pros know!

Lance is on guiding on Lake Erie for several weeks from late October through late November.

Net Results Fishing Charters

Welcome aboard the Net Results.  Captain Duncan Wooster has a United States Coast Guard license and 20 years of walleye fishing and Great Lakes boating experience.  This is not a job it's my passion, I love learning and sharing how to catch walleyes.  A perfect day on the water is searching and locating a school of walleye and finding the best way to put them in the boat.  Depending on your trip we may troll spinners, cranks, or jig.

Duncan is chasing early spring walleye's in the western basin during April.  He then moves to the central basin from May-July.  Duncan finishes out the year in Huron, Ohio from October-December for the fall trophy fest.  Lets go fishing!

Angler's Quest Guide Service

Captain Paul Doute specializes in fishing for walleye on Lake Erie, Detroit River, and Saginaw Bay.  His educational charters will help you learn to jig, troll, or handline in a fun and informative way.  Paul is a US Coast Guard licensed charter captain and a noted seminar speaker.  River jigging, Great Lakes open water trolling, and handlining the Detroit River are his favorite way to put more walleye in the boat.

Paul is fishing Lake Erie from late April to mid May and again in the fall from late October through late November.
