Visit Website
Cranberry Creek is a small marina with good quality two lane launch ramp located at Ruggles Beach. Very easy access to Lake Erie - it's about a hundred yards from the open lake. Tackle shop on site and airboats to take you ice fishing. Use caution as there is shallow water just outside the opening to Lake Erie from the marina.
Directions: Easy to find. If your going east from Huron on Hwy 6 the marina will be on your left side about 1.0 miles east of Hwy 61. Go slow as you approach since it's just below the hill and is a sharp turn into the marina.

Vermilion Port Authority Launch
West River Road off Liberty Ave (Highway 6)
Located on the first street west of the Vermilion River bridge. Good quality ramp with two lane ramp and lots of parking - limited dock space is available and the ramp can become backed up in the morning. About a 15 minute trip to Lake Eire at 5 MPH max speed. Restrooms are available but no live bait. Rich's Hook Line Sinker Bait and Tackle was directly across the street but closed in 2008. Bad Boyz tackle east of the bridge on Hwy 6 is your best bet. Quaker Steak and Shake restaurant is between the ramp and the lake - great place to pull up for lunch on your way back in. Launch fee is $6.00 (use the envelopes if no ramp personnel are present).
Directions: A little difficult to find. Turn south on West River Road off of Highway 6 (Convenient Food Mart is on the corner). West River Road is the first road west of the Vermilion River bridge at a light. Ramp will be on your left side about three blocks down the road.
