Message: Chris, to enhance your education of the Great Lakes Ecosystem and Detroit River Basin i sumbit to you this satellite link of the river, likely taken around 1992 or earlier Your future outdoorsman activity can be complimented with some basic education from the International Joint Commission where this satellite image first appeared to me in around the 1992 timeframe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Large_Detroit_Landsat.jpg www.ijc.org has details on contaminant levels in our fishing holes )))) some low, some high, some things you would be interesting in learning i am confident to believe. awesome site! ps keep an eye out on those American Bald Eagles flying overhead. Living on Fighting Island and near Grey Duck Bay/Turkey Island area, what better to compliment a day of fishing but to see the Great American Bald Eagle in flight and fishing with you !! :)
