What is the difference between Wyandotte, Thump! and Bio Worms?
That is a great question. Here are the basic differences. See Picture
Wyandotte Worm - has been around for a hundred years. Used extensively for jigging on the Detroit River. May look like a lamprey that spawns in the Detroit River at the same time the walleye are migrating up to spawn. These lamprey are occassionally found in the walleyes stomach. Has a signature paddle tail that flutters in the current. Most popular types are 4" worms. Available in brown, camo (dark green) or black.
Thump! 'Em Up Worm - new option for jigging in fast current and tough conditions. Thump! worms are thicker than the Wyandotte worm and hold up better on today's heavier walleye river jigs. The 5" length makes this worm a perfect match to our removable stinger hooks. The treble hook lines up with the end of the worm - perfect for short stikes and less aggressive cold water fish. Scented to give you that extra second to set the hook. Available in six colors.
