Seminars + New Boat = Big Fish!
Lance: I just wanted to say thanks. After years of fishing for bass and pan fish on smaller inland lakes I finally got a boat made for big water. When the warm weather came early in mid March, my son Greg and I headed for the Wyandotte boat launch on the Detroit River. Armed with our Walleye 101 baits and seminar knowledge, we passed through the huge group of boats in the Mud Island channel looking for a spot away from the crowd. We pulled into the Two Rocks area (between the crowds at GLS and Mud Island). On our first pass Greg got a respectable 5 1/2 pounder. Next pass, he got an eater. On the next pass I got my first walleye on the new boat - 11 lbs 3oz! On the next pass I got my second one - 8 lbs 7oz! (see attached photo). Since then we have been filling our freezers (and the neighbors) with fish, and racking up waypoints (that are beginning to tell a story).
Thanks again,
Tight Lines!
